The Artistic Glassblowing Studio located at Souvenir City on the Niagara Parkway features on-site glassblowing with a viewing area that allows the audience to watch it being made! Key to the studio’s uniqueness is Master Glassblower Angelo Rossi. Born in Murano, Venice, in 1946, he learned his extensive glass art skills from the Italian masters. Later, in Canada, he operated for many years from his own studio near Niagara Falls and has created works in the United States at the Fenton Art Glass Company... world-renowned for its excellence in coloured glasses. Angelo specializes in “off hand” creations, each piece unique and special.  

Resident artists and apprentices are another key element to the diversity of the studio. Each summer the Artistic Glassblowing Studio takes on apprentices from Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario. Angelo welcomes the opportunity to shape the minds and skillsets of up and coming artists.
